How to last forever?
This is the main question I am asking for my Bentley-sponsored masters' degree project. I want to change the public perception of the disposable car culture. To prove that the car can become something, like an heirloom, which you inherit from your grandfather. Therefore it is important to see that no one inherits a digital watch of his grandfather! This lead me to the idea I should move away from the common black box design of today and show the mechanics in a mystical, luxurious and interesting way. The perfect combination of simplicity and mechanical fascination makes a design remain valuable though time.
