Photography's capacity for confounding rather than confirming our experience of reality is what draws me to the medium.
At the fringes of the theatre space, the series _The Sixth Act _explores the potential for drama that exists between the world of the 'real', that is the audience, and the fictional and constructed reality of the performance. Notions of what might be considered 'real' and 'construct' are interchangeable. Perhaps we cannot hope to see through a façade to the truth it conceals, but to a multiplicity of façades and truths.
