The work in the show consists of:
- A stage prop standing on vinyl flooring in the corner of the space. PVC plastic which has been printed on, deck the structure as well as its feet.
- an installation on vinyl flooring along the back wall. This features materials both found and made, a dismantled wendy house and PVC plastic which has been printed on.
- Three wall based, unframed screenprints on paper. The two repeated images are placed close together but can be identified as separate images.Â

My practice is based around the idea of landscape being groundless, a dispersible commodity which acts as the antithesis of what landscape historically identifies with (the ever present support and base upon which to build).
My interests in the theatre as a fluctuating space of transitional change means that audiences are often faced with the front and back of props and structures. Both identifiable simulacra such as wood and alien materials with unplaceable properties present themselves as two dimensional coverings straddling their supporting object's three dimensional form.Â
The facade and the reality are both visible in the same space. The illusionary theatrics do not hold up and are of a lo-fi grade, giving the work a 'build your own' sensibility, holding the space through a haptic, transitional clash of materials.Â
The vehicle for the work usually consists of Print mediums. Images are repeated around the space, taking the emphasis away from 'the original' and paying more attention to the industrialization of human production and recreation.
