VADIO
Vadio undermines biometric radar surveillance – emerging military technology that monitors individuals’ heartbeats, activities and identities through walls, in crowds, anywhere; using radio waves. Vadio alerts activists and protesters when being monitored. It translates the surveilling radiowaves into physical sensations, providing directional information to allow evasion or behaviour adjustment.

Designer, inventor and technologist, with a background in architecture. Jacob's practice examines the interplay of human experience and emerging technologies.
Experiments and human insights drive Jacob's design philosophy to create meaningful interventions in both the digital and physical realm. This has led to a broad portfolio of work encapsulating HCI, radio communications, digital and physical product development and large scale architectural projects.
