Amphora Acoustics
Drawing inspiration from theories of acoustic resonance, Amphora represents an innovative realisation of the passive-reactive Helmholtz resonator. By reimagining its intricate passages in combination with a dynamic-shifting mechanism, this resonator blurs the boundaries between passive noise reduction and sound amplification.
As an architectural module, Amphora encourages contemplation of the fluidity of our sensory experiences and uncharted dimensions of spatial perception. It transcends mere materiality, becoming a conduit for reimagining both privacy and new ways of broadcasting.
