Familia, Origin

My work is about the relationship between the product and the user. To me, an object is not only a functional servant but also a humble helper beside you; it has its own background, story and character. It should be the designer’s responsibility to make the object more alive to allow its user to build the emotional connection into it.

Creativity is not a privilege only belonging to a role such as designer, but it’s part of human nature. Through people’s curiosity and imagination, we could encourage people to have stronger emotional intimacy with the object that is close to them. As a result,  I want to create a range of objects with soft, ambiguous form, which is inspired by natural beauty, to stimulate the user to feel, play and find their own way to define the product’s functionality and identity.
