UNCANNY

This project researches the potential to be found in discarded waste from industrial ceramic tableware production. In an industrial setting, there are many instances where breakages and errors lead to discarded and unfinished objects that are usually recycled and mixed again as raw clay. 


This project celebrates the sometimes uncanny aesthetic and functional opportunities suggested by the shattered fragments of industrial production. The perfect statement of objects are turning into imperfection and, after the process of merging, it results in Uncanny.
