Hitomi Kai Yoda
MA work
MA work
Hitomi Kai Yoda is strongly drawn to power relations, control, authority and transactions, especially in relation to ‘the image’. Yoda’s awareness of these factors stems from his childhood experiences of a hybrid culture, at home, at school and in society.

Through Yoda’s practice, he attempts to challenge constructs of both the authoritarian and unauthoritarian. The form taken is a process of the mutual connections and influence between them both, as well as considering wider social realities.
