MA work

Design is often called upon to make things simpler...but should all complex systems be simplified? As the world fills with ever more complex systems, is it right to shroud everything in a neat facade of simplicity? Perhaps people can be conscious of systems at different levels.

We live in amongst complex systems; if we can see and interact with them can we use them to understand the world we live in and locate our own position in that world? We monitor things, progress and shifts in complex systems such as our gardens; can we do the same with other systems like the Internet, Transport and Networks?
