My curatorial practice can involve contemporary artists or cultural practitioners from other fields, and takes the form of discursive programmes, screenings, publications or exhibitions. For Shadowboxing I collaborated with Marysia Lewandowska in a project that spanned these multiple platforms. A particular area of interest is the relation between experimental and documentary filmmaking and its impact on contemporary art. I am interested in the politics and aesthetics of representation, and how artistic practices address social and political realities while also interrogating the conditions of their production and distribution.
