MA work

MA work

My work is an exploration of what footwear needs to be, with the possibilities of what it can be. Inspiration comes from the combination of nature (both processes and resulting objects) with speculative ideas about the future.

I love the process of design and making, from taking the initial concept and translating it into collections that are mindful of values of commerciality, to the need for the footwear to be worn and very much loved by the wearer. I'd ideally like to work with people whose personal culture reflects an appreciation for both continued learning and challenge through design.
