MA work
Working with the language of colour, glaze, mass and multiple, my practice aims to create a dynamic and hypnotic feast for the senses. Inhabiting the context where the analytical, sensual and material intertwine, this current body of work marries simple abstract forms with the richness of ceramic surface, resulting in visually stimulating and tactile ‘wallscapes’ that are dominated by a sense of progression, contamination and alchemy. A strong sense of dialogue between logical and emotional elements runs through each piece, indicative of a personal journey to reconcile my creative, scientific and methodical selves.
