  • The work reveals the desire to rupture using a violence that ordinarily has no place in the public sphere.

The disruption acts as a form of protest by which imaginative space can be reclaimed.  My research has centred around mutism, both as a medical condition and in relation to the female voice in society.

Recent works attempt to carve out an alternate space for the feminine using voice and anger in a way that is at once engaging and deeply unsettling.
