Information technologies help make maintaining human relationships easy and convenient. At the same time, they have created unusual obsessions or unpleasant behaviours, which sometimes develop into social problems or end up ruining the relationships themselves. How do we deal with these social dilemmas? Is there any alternative means of communication that delivers more meaningful and aesthetic experiences that we designers might have missed? My projects propose a new and pleasurable experience through tangible interface design that also raises ethical questions about current technology and highlights our unperceived, contradictory needs.
