Once a Year, Haruka Shinji
Ink on paper
Human desires and obsessions, observed and collected fragments of strangeness all form the characters in my work. I long for a place that I cannot reach, so I realise the place on paper instead. Once my characters live in the place, the stories are born. Through illustration as a medium I am obsessed with mingling real fragments into my imaginary world. Stories that float between reality and dreams keep fascinating me.
