MA work

MA work

My main sources of inspiration are landscapes and places. Particularly bounded spaces like forest interiors. Landscape is something universal, but through personal attachment and sensuous memory a place can be unique and a mooring for identities. It can be the sights of myths and fantasies and at the same time a place of concrete experiences. Norse mythology and traditional narratives have been a natural part of my upbringing but I am particularly interested in the nature and landscape where these narratives found their form through history. To me the forest is a space where there are no limitations to what I can draw.

As an artistic environment releases my imagination in a very real and concrete sense.
