Memory is not a simple set-piece that one remembers, it is a complicated arrangement of emotions. The actual facts of our memories may be very different to how we remember them, and can be distorted by our emotional state. I am inspired by the emotion of the memory rather than by the objects involved, and my work is a personal commitment to keeping these moments precious.
