Grzegorz Leńczuk

Having some background in Psychology and a BA degree in Visual Culture and Communication with Fine Art History from the University of Toronto; I try to synthesise that body of knowledge into what becomes my understanding of contemporary art and culture. Likewise, through my experience in the market side of the art world as well as a diploma in Art Business from the Sotheby’s Institute of Art, I try to further develop my understanding of the systems of contemporary culture and the influence of capital on formations of institutional structures and knowledge production. 

From a practical standpoint I have worked on small-scale exhibitions over the past few years, which allowed me to experience exhibition making at first hand. In tandem with that, I have worked at art fairs and also independently as an adviser. My MA in Curating Contemporary Art from the Royal College of Art is a next step in further developing my understanding and appreciation of how art and culture operate, which combined with my previous education and experience gives me a unique perspective.
