The technique of curved folding is an inherently beautiful forming method, creating sinuous curves in a variety of sheet materials. The primary drive of this project is to define the structural performance of curved folding and apply the technique to the design of a vehicle chassis.

The project investigates the efficiency and flexibility of curved folding within the paradigm of vehicle manufacturing, as well as proposing new CAD and CAM methods for modelling and fabricating using curved folding methods.
