Inspired by geometric trickery and the structures of knit, these works combine heavily patterned knitting and cast rubber to create an alternative to conventional furniture materials.
I have used yarn traditionally associated with garment making and combined it with rubber to explore the interplay between resilient and malleable structures as well as the juxtaposition of graphic imagery with the fluid anarchy of organic forms.
