Pepper sprays are not allowed for use by the public in many countries and are easily misused. Guns, knives and other weapons are also generally illegal to own and carry. Aggressors often tend to isolate their victims and policemen are seldom around. In a real-life situation the average person cannot be expected to successfully apply self-defense techniques learned and practiced in a classroom environment. Finding a lack of solutions to the problems of defense from a random assault, I have therefore concentrated my work on the subject of protection in the event of an attack.
