MEN WHO SIT

A collection of menswear footwear. Taking influence from my background in bespoke shoemaking observing the interaction between customer and maker engaging with the process of make, material and longevity of product - there is a deeper interest in quality over quantity. Quality of make begins with material itself. Leather being literally a skin gives a material quality unlike any other. The magic of leather and its potential for patina stems from the fact that every skin is unique. It is a capricious material whose metamorphosis always brings surprises. Therein lies the alchemy and the beginning of my material collection development. 

The collection pushes and adapts traditional techniques in both the interior and exterior constructions. I have used leathers for uppers and soling that both encourages patina and patent techniques that entrap the beauty of an existing one. I aim to make shoes that will mould to you, a shoe that echoes you.
