George Fereday

MA work

At the core of my interest is the revisiting of old production techniques for applications for the future. My work with Extrusion has examined the applications for this technology out if its traditional context. By extruding my own plastic tubing I have attempted to make an old industrial process my own, extending its potential beyond a factory-produced linear section towards a manual, organic form that can be ‘drawn’ to fit unique spaces and perform unique functions.
