To the Fourth Dimension
To the Fourth Dimension is a set of playful objects about time. It consists of a board game, a set of dominos, and a handbook.
The board game, For Time Sake, let players play as four-dimensional beings to organise disordered time. A dominos set is an entertaining tool to demonstrate larger time scales based on a lifespan.
The project aims to inspire people who live and work in a mechanical nine – five timetable to think about the mysterious aspects of time, by immersing them in an object-mediated storytelling environment; to touch an imaginary and emotional time, which they usually ignore. And to question new possibilities, if time is not what they think it is.

Before studying product design, I did filmmaking. I found directing and design are alike in many aspects. For me, the most important thing is to find the best media to bring the imagination to the real life.Â
Some feelings are very subtle, and very hard to describe through language. But well designed objects and storytelling can make people have an emotional resonance. My enthusiasm as a designer is to find the overlap of subjectivity and objectivity where this resonance can be generated.
