Adsum - Public Engagement in the Age of the Digital Citizen

Adsum bridges the gap between decision makers or Gatekeepers (authorities, governments, institutions, etc.) and members of the General Public by facilitating digital engagement through an online platform.

It aggregates and indexes different channels for civil participation from Gatekeepers and curates the issues to users according to their interests. It allows registered users to participate as much as they wish with the goal to nudge them to higher levels of engagement through interest based suggestions and game mechanics.

  • While my undergraduate in Product Design taught me the fundamentals of functional design solutions, my international experience and GID has enabled me to approach complex problems with a holistic perspective, to find the fundamental challenges within.

I am very interested in initiating responsible change through design in many different areas like agriculture, manufacturing, and human behaviour. Recently I’ve worked on projects around civil participation in the digital age, the provenance and the future of our food and the impact of climate change on a smallholder farm level.
