MA work
I explore cities, or – more exactly – I scout locations in cities. Places are no longer simply real but enter the dynamics of desire. From there emanates a cinematic space that answers back to this desire.
With photography I create a space of contradiction where the viewer may feel unease, propelled within the space of a narrative that is just about to start or has already finished.
Cities become a perverse playground for a deceptive and melancholic self-exploration.
