Structure + Form
I am interested in the idea of essentialism and the automobile. If the car were invented this year and not over one hundred years ago, what would it be like? How would it be different? How would it be similiar? Would it be essentially the same, as we know it today?
My project explores a future where the automobile remains as a primary means of personal transport but in a world where driving is now the distraction. Starting from the inside, the interface is designed to be dynamic, empathetic and pleasurable. The exterior reflects changing technologies and their impact on fabrication, safety, and function. The project is intended to be a reflection of our future attitudes toward driving and technology.
