Francesca Tamse is an artist based in London. She received her BA at the School of Visual Arts in New York in 2013, with an Honors in Photography.
Her works focus on the female gaze, observing the young male figure in the landscape and in social environments.
The frame reveals the oscillation between the desire and the critical, male privilege and its representation in art history and western culture. There is a play of layering, collage, and multiplicity found in the photographic image that speaks about quickness and economy in presentation.
