Agridemics
Agridemics is a bio-dynamic farm and studio-school, run by excluded and marginalised young people, generating green routes out of London and poverty. It is a prototype for other agri-cademies, made possible through failing housing, London’s green spaces and a youthful labour force.
Growing from Burgess Park, it bridges into the existing infrastructures of the Aylesbury Estate and beyond. The landscape envelops the building, rising over the surroundings to engage with wider London. Livestock pass through the educational spaces, interconnecting processes, animals and people, terminating in the public marketplace.
