MA work
My main area of interest is in the honest elements of a vehicles design, the human element, people’s emotional reaction and engagement with it. For my final piece, I attempt to define what an elegant, dynamic, small vehicle could look like in my future scenario. I take what I learnt from my dissertation and question what an intermediate space between car and bicycle could feel like, and how the increased level of sensory feedback could provide a welcome alternative to today’s hyper refined vehicles.
Key to the concept is changing the trajectory of how the future is viewed, it is a more edgy, less relaxed alternative to the hallowed ‘autonomous’ future. As this vision of the future is one that has been shaped by the rebellious side of human nature, which will always exist.
