Forever. Never. Ever.

The collection developed for my final year was influenced by the culture of gap year travelers. Beginning with this commentary on modern day colonial and cultural appropriation, as the year progressed, the work eventually transformed into a positive celebration of humanity. Influenced by the unfolding way of current events in the turbulence of the present day, these garments have become hopeful totems  which are to  console and comfort,  while also evoking joyous celebration in  the commonalities shared throughout the human experience.

    Specialism

    knit

  • I am a menswear knitwear designer whom has a speciality in hand work techniques. My work is Influenced by the  dialogue created by entwining historicism with modern turbulence of the present day.  Creating  garments through the act of knitting enables me to create potential talismans which are to evoke the joy and commonality throughout humanity,  via the usage of bold textures and strong colour work and a meticulous love for patterns.
