The existing light industrial use of Sprowston Mews, occupied predominantly by MOT garages, is being threatened by the street's incremental redevelopment into housing. A unified public realm and local level masterplan protects and strengthens the messy mixed-use nature of 'one of the most challenging roads in the borough,' as identified by Newham Council.
