MA work

MA work

I have always been intrigued by the thought of how different the world must seem if you were inside someone else’s head. I have made two films which use film and animation to capture something of a character’s subjective experience.

My work is inspired by psychoanalytic themes and combines live action 16mm-film and oil-painted animation. I am interested in delving into the inner world of my characters, aiming to encapsulate what the world looks and feels like from their perspective.

I enjoy the variety involved in directing live action as well as animation, and look forward to further developing my experience in bringing the two together.
