Experiment 2: Layered Text, Elizabeth Hyde
The information age is characterised by a pursuit for speed. Our desire for speed has no doubt led us to great innovations, but when we reach the ultimate in speed — the ‘instantaneous’ — how can process be brought back into our uptake of visual information? The project explores the process of revelation as an anecdote to our instant ubiquitous world of information. How through manipulation of our visual environment can new perspectives and interactions with information be created?
