Cohesion between our names

In a stable paradigm of orientation

The resemblance to the word real 

It is a dialogue about how clothes can ground oneself and why it is that garments are key in doing so. Attempting to shift the perspective on and view clothing from different angles, displaying the dualism between two-dimensionality and garments on the body.

Critically reacting in dialogue, our shared experience during this time and the body of work we produced in and outside of the college. Looking at where the outcome of this period of research, development and make has taken us so far, as much as evaluating what to discover in the future.

Attempting to demonstrate and articulate the creative process of developing an informed personal design identity in the contemporary cultural and sociological landscape, as a product of applying our combined skill-set between practice and theory.

To take active responsibility for both our process and result to be displayed to multiple audiences, while demonstrating complexity with an original response to solve the creative problem towards a deeper understanding of the contemporary landscape of value and image production.

With the attempt to maintain both our goals and ethos, personal and professional, to create a meaningful, just as much as a practical, solution to the contemporary dilemma of groundlessness.
