Infra
Advances in 3D printing have given designers unprecedented control at the small scale, but the software readily available to them has not. Infra allows designers to delve into the potential complexity that form digital manufacturing offers without requiring them to develop their own tools from the ground up.
Infra is a software tool for manipulating the mesostructure of digital models. This encompasses all geometry larger than the microscopic material structure and smaller than the overarching form. Features of this size are key to controlling the way we perceive the physical world around us; they affect our understanding of an object's texture, weight, strength, sound, temperature and more.
