MA work

MA work

My work explores the language of jewellery by causing a displacement in the clichés of the language of traditional jewellery. Deconstructing the text of the tradition, the hegemony of traditional jewellery comes under scrutiny in my work, questioning the authority of this language. Fractured fairytales are revealed and concealed.
