Starling Light Filter, Dominik Donocik
There is something indescribably beautiful in the behaviour of starlings at dusk. The birds will tend to aggregate into one unified changing mass that roams the twilight sky. 
This seemingly random assembly of birds has its purpose. Thousands of eyes on the lookout keep the birds safe from the preying eagle.

The aim of this project is to understand our relationship with this ethereal quality of change, and to try to imbue industrially designed products with the same properties. Can we create products that have a greater fluidity and flexibility in our static man-made environment?
