MA work
MA work
I seek to confuse the boundaries of actual and illusory, and do so by attempting to work somewhere in between two and three dimensions. Within these new realities I try to raise questions around knowledge, perception, scientific fact and agreed conventions.
My work is a product of theory, concept and process, but also driven by a strong compulsion for aesthetic calm and harmony. In this way, I like to think of my work as building – as logical constructions – whether working with image-making, sculpture or installation.
I would like to place my work in an everyday context, applied to usable products and familiar situations, and through this bring new layers to the ordinary.
