MA work

All the rooms I entered by mistake

A site-specific installation comprising four arrangements of things aligned in an aristotelic progression: a point, a line/plane, a space/cube, relating to studio practice and labour in relation with sintax: words on top of words compose a certain spell, a certain reconstruction of a time no longer there.

  • I work as a reaction against a certain idea of cultural dementia, against forgetting. I produce installations that revolve around knowledge-creating processes and inquire into the way that subjective memory is built. Working from the fragment, from piece to the whole. I slowly weave a micro cosmos, full of tiny, small analogies that make up totems, cairns or markers in time and space, which are nothing but the trace of the question, of pedagogy: of search. Everything is a desperate attempt to revive portions of a hidden history and, through projects, incorporate it into an imaginary.
