• 'Waste Labs' is a waste processing scheme that revolves around creating a new system for the local collection, processing and transformation of waste.

  The idea is to create an alternative service for waste disposal for local small businesses in order to fuel a series of local waste labs to transform the collected waste into functional products for local public use.

  As a designer, I am interested in looking at waste as a resource to produce alternative economies at local level to empower small businesses and nurture communities.

  The first 'Waste Lab' initiative is the 'Glass Lab'.
