COMMxUNITY
While COMMxUNITY focusses on energy consumption, the overarching theme is to shift from the concept of 'smart buildings' to a conversation around 'buildings as living organisms'. In this way, the building is not considered a collection of machine and human parts, but rather an organic entity of a complex nature, comprising of intelligence – machine and human – governance structures, and communication systems.Â

My work brings together strategy, service and experience design, to leverage technological and human systems, platforms and power structures, in the design of novel services. At a granular level, this means undertaking macro, micro and user research, running workshops, prototyping service concepts through experiments, crafting narrative arcs to explain complex services, and designing high fidelity service visions, business models, MVP's, and implementation roadmaps.Â
My background in organisational strategy, technology and entrepreneurship, together with my practice, provides me with a foundation to craft services for the future that create better environments, communities and lives for people.Â
