Go Less Flow : How can we make water more communicative towards domestic water efficiency.
We cannot live without water, but we are not aware of how we use it and how routine and ephemeral our water usage is. We can intellectually understand that we need to be more efficient with our water usage, but can we empathise with the problem if we are experiencing a normal and abundant water resource? With global warming as a growing problem we will in the future experience severe problems and shortages of water.
The challenges regarding water are vast and this project approaches the challenge of water efficiency in domestic contexts, by relearning and challenging our behaviour and usage of water.
Go Less Flow wants to make water more communicative towards water efficiency by using tangible interaction design to change our perception and usage of water in our daily lives.
With this our mechanical use of water will be interrupted making us aware of our access and usage of water, provoking a change.
