MA work
Driven by an obsession with colour and pattern, my work has been inspired by an illusion of movement in surface pattern. Using dye sublimation and screenprinting processes, colour is applied to fabric then manipulated. Pleating techniques have subsequently been used to further distort the original optical patterns and attempt to achieve a sense of movement around the body, through surface decoration.

Having previously worked as a digital print designer, the past two years at the RCA have allowed me to explore more tactile craft process as well as traditional dyeing and printing methods.
