Melio
Melio is a financial management service designed to simplify, automate and future-proof your financial world.
In January 2018, major legislative changes will come into force, requiring all financial services companies to share their APIs. This disruptive change, known as PSD2, leaves the industry open to innovative services that aggregate all your financial products in one place, transforming the status quo to “Open Banking”.
For customers, this means the ability to access and use all your financial services products, such as your current/savings accounts, credit cards, loans, pensions and mortgage through one service, without ever using your provider’s apps and websites.
For the financial services, if customers are not accessing their products through their services, they risk losing control of the front end of their experiences, potentially just becoming a part of the infrastructure.
Melio is a new financial management service which progressively improves your financial world by helping you to make better financial decisions based on your personal, real-time financial data, set in the context of your life.
It does this by bringing together your financial products and analysing your situation to make intelligent recommendations for your next steps, such as suggesting which debts to tackle first, and how to get the most out of your savings.
Melio also enables you to create smart budgets, predicting your spending before it happens based on your past actions and known future events, and automatically adjusts your visible balance to hide the money you want to set aside, so you're never out of pocket for the things that matter.
Finally, Melio builds your confidence, knowledge and awareness, showing you a path forward towards financial freedom, reassuring and guiding you through the complexities of your financial landscape so that your situation feels manageable, and so that you feel in control.
