MA work

I’m interested in cultural connections within Asia. From the viewpoint of breaking up geographical and ideological boundaries of Chinese art and opening up global dialogues, I enjoy cultural encounters and their interactions, and the marginalisation and mobility of the social and cultural discourse in a globalised context. I would like to be involved in the construction of art institutions, international residency programmes and contemporary art archives in China. I am concerned with regional, historical research into Chinese modern and contemporary art, and obscured history and psychological ruptures and their political and social manifestations.
