What is a second... Brief? Insignificant? Short? Most people don’t really pay too much attention to one. I, however, as a stop-motion animator, spend hours upon hours in a dark and poorly ventilated room, slowly, meticulously, painstakingly creating seconds. It takes 25 photographs to make each one. Isn’t that really tedious? I hear you ask... the answer, yes a little bit. But that’s not the point.

Slow Derek is the epic and spellbinding tale of Derek, an office worker, as he battles with the true speed of planet Earth.
