Dan Prasad in collaboration with Brioni - The Emergence of an idol
Exploring the symbology of ‘belonging’ through ritualistic displays such as those seen in the historical dress of the Freemasons, the collection articulates this enquiry through considered line and impeccably tailored design.
Collaborating with the masters of tailoring, Brioni, my final collection includes four key garments that have been developed and produced in Penne, Italy, alongside the maestro tailors.

Whilst studying at the RCA I have achieved the Brioni Excellence Award acknowledged by creative director Brendon Mullane. Shortly after I furthered my experience by working in New York for Ralph Lauren on the Purple Label. These experiences have impacted on my design process, which places an emphasis on clean, forward-thinking design. My aim as a menswear designer is to explore new avenues of design through fabrication, techniques, silhouette and tailoring.
