I am interested in the notion of the home being a place of threat, as opposed to a place of comfort. Often the most familiar places/people can be the most dangerous, this is true in cases of domestic violence. In my work I use images of the domestic in uncanny and surrealistic ways to question the wholesomeness of the home environment.
