Euphoros

Becoming a new mum is a life-changing moment and often one of the happiest in life. However, these special moments can also be tough and cause dramatic changes in our lifestyles and relationships.

According to NHS statistics, one in seven women suffer from postnatal depression. However, lack of awareness and unpredictable diagnosis is a great barrier to receiving proper treatment and support from family members.

Euphoros is a wearable well being device for new mums to improve their engagement with family and moreover acts as a preventative device for postnatal depression.

This project started from research into emotional relationships and depression. Euphoros will eliminate fears of postnatal depression and give new mums peace of mind, allowing them to fully enjoy this amazing moment.
